In the first half of 2025, the Bridges Kammerorchester will be performing four different concert programmes at the Casals Forum Kronberg, the hr-Sendesaal Frankfurt, the Gebrüder-Busch-Theater Hilchenbach, the netzwerk.seilerei and for the first time at the Bachfest Leipzig.

Förderverein
Bridges Kammerorchester e. V.

Our Förderverein Bridges Kammerorchester e. V. is currently being founded. Its aim is to support the orchestra in increasing its impact and enriching the musical landscape through its diversity. You can already become a member now. We are authorised to issue donation receipts once we have been entered in the register of associations and a certificate of exemption has been issued.

Complementarity – Track by track

Every Friday we release a track from our new album Complementarity.

On 6 December, we continue with the third movement from the Konzert für Violoncello Solo & Bridges Kammerorchester by Peter Klohmann, a composition commissioned by the Kronberg Academy Foundation for the opening of the Casals Forum in September 2022. Soloist László Fenyö is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions and one of the leading cellists of his generation.

What is universal in music – and what is not? This exciting question was the subject of the SWR Wissen programme with journalist Christoph Drösser on 23 October from 8.00 am.

In the run-up to his production, Christoph Drösser conducted an interview with Johanna-Leonore Dahlhoff, who contributes her expertise on transcultural music and thus sheds light on further aspects of possible universality.
